Our Accommodation

We offer our guests the choice of three distinct styles of accommodation from a luxury tent in our Nabulungi camp area to the charm and rustic comfort of the Shack and its quaint facilities. If you prefer to visit us in your Camper Van then we even have a special accommodation and amenities perfectly suited for your stay. Whichever style of accommodation you choose Piet and Let will help you get the most from your visit to Dewagendrift.

Nabulungi

Accommodation consists of four fully-equipped, luxury tents each with its own bathroom (shower, bath and toilet etc). Two of the tents have queen size beds while the other two each have two three quarter beds. There is a separate, fully equipped kitchen plus a large braai area.

Tents are R600 per person per night. Children under 6 free. Tents can be accessed from 2.00pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. Please also see our Conditions of Entry.

The Shack

The Shack is the original homestead and in addition to its rustic charm provides comfortable, safe accommodation for up to 6 – 8 people. There are 2 separate bedrooms, main room queen bed, en-suite bathroom (Shower, toilet wash-up basin) with an air conditioner. Fully enclosed veranda with a single bed and sitting area. A second bedroom with 3 single beds and air conditioning. A second separate bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The fully equipped large open kitchen is perfect for entertaining family and friends. Step outside to a spacious, covered braai area with a stunning view of the dam and all its bird life. The Shack costs R1750 per night. The Shack can be accessed from 2.00pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. Please also see our Conditions of Entry.

Van & RV Camp

The Van and RV Camp is situated adjacent to the dam and The Shack in a tree-lined, private area. There’s everything a couple or family on the road needs for an overnight stop-over or relaxing, week-long stay including easy access to clean toilets, showers, electricity and water.It’s the perfect location to pitch a tent and enjoy nature at its best. Van & RV Camp sites cost R200 plus R50 per person, per day. There is no charge for children under 6 years. Please also see our Conditions of Entry.

Day Visitors are also welcome at a cost of R150 per person which includes a complimentary game-view drive.
